Nature-Based Enrichment Programs for Schools

Green Kids Learn offers calm, hands-on enrichment experiences that support movement, creativity, life skills, and environmental awareness through nature-inspired learning.

Programs are designed for preschool and elementary students and can be adapted to fit the unique rhythm and needs of each school community.

Through gardening, yoga and mindful awareness, plant-based cooking and juicing, and art from recycled and natural materials, children are encouraged to explore, create, and learn using real-world experiences.

Each program supports collaboration, curiosity, and respectful connection to nature while helping students build confidence and practical life skills.

Programs may be scheduled as weekly enrichment classes, seasonal workshops, or special events.

All materials are provided, and classes can be adapted for indoor or outdoor environments.

Gardening Program

The gardening program introduces children to growing food, caring for plants, and building a meaningful connection with nature.

Students explore planting from seeds, composting, soil preparation, and seasonal garden activities while developing responsibility, observation skills, and collaboration.

Class sessions may include storytelling, safe use of gardening tools, hands-on planting, group exploration, and reflective discussion. Programs can be held indoors or outdoors, and all materials are provided.

Yoga & Mindful Awareness Program

This program supports children in developing body awareness, focus, and emotional balance through gentle yoga and mindfulness practices.

Sessions include simple stretches, breathing exercises, mindful movement, music, and quiet relaxation moments that help children feel calm and centered.

Activities may include yoga stories, guided breathing, meditation practices, and a closing circle that encourages reflection and connection.

Plant-Based Cooking & Juicing – Green Chefs Program

The cooking and juicing program introduces children to healthy plant-based foods through safe, hands-on preparation.

Students learn basic life skills such as measuring, mixing, following directions, and working collaboratively while exploring fruits, vegetables, and simple recipes.

All recipes are designed to be age-appropriate and do not require the use of a stove or oven. Activities may include smoothies, fresh juices, salads, hummus, and simple, nutritious snacks.

Art from Recycled & Natural Materials

This creative program encourages environmental awareness through art projects made from recycled and nature-based materials.

Children explore sustainability while creating imaginative projects that inspire problem-solving, collaboration, and self-expression.

Activities may include recycled paper crafts, nature collages, habitat creations, eco-design projects, and collaborative art experiences that connect creativity with environmental responsibility.
